Chena would like to congratulate our swimmers from the Senior National Group that have qualified to compete at the Canadian Olympic Trials taking place in Montreal March 27 – April 1, 2012. It takes an amazing amount of commitment and dedication to get to this level and we want to ensure our swimmers have the whole club's support on their journey.
We have done short interviews with each of the qualified swimmers so that the entire club can get to know them better, and follow their progress leading up to, and through the Trials. We will be featuring a different athlete each week for the next six weeks, beginning with Melissa Jung, and we encourage you to offer support on our Twitter or Facebook page. These Chena athletes have sacrificed a lot over many years to reach this level and they should know that we are behind them, all the way to the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Qualified so far are Melissa Jung, Charlotte Philpotts, Robert Hill, Adam Holme, James Dergousoff and Mike Diering.
