Congrats to Youth National Swimmers that competed at the Hyack meet
this past weekend. The meet was long and tough but we stuck it out
and finished with some very strong performances. Adam
Holme set a new club record in the 1500 fr and won the
distance aggregate for 15 and over boys. James
Dergousoff swam very strong in all events especially
breaststroke, and won the aggregate for 13-14 boys in that event.
Way to go James! Two swimmers came in second place for the stroke
aggregate awards, congrats to Justin Chan for a
close second in the distance events and to Rob
Hill for a very strong performance in the I.M. events. Rob
Hill was chosen as swimmer of the meet, he swam 100 percent best
times and moved up in the overall national rankings to top 3 for
kids born in his year. The swim of the meet goes to
Nicolas Hernandez for his 200 bk
performance, taking off over 8 seconds, Nicolas has also moved into
the top 8 14 year old swimmers in the country in this event. Way to
go guys!
